Objectives
- Describe the indications, contraindications, and complications of enteral nutrition
- Discuss the role of each discipline in the provision of enteral nutrition support.
- Identify and manage common adverse effects of enteral nutrition.
- Develop a comprehensive plan for transitioning patients to home enteral nutrition
- Understand feeding tube placement, types of feeding tubes, various placement techniques, and the recognition and management of potential complications to ensure safe and effective clinical practice
